Plot twist: 100 Years before Obama, Frederick Douglass (a black man) ran for vice president alongside Victoria Woodhull (a white, feminist woman). Douglass also received a vote for presidential nominee at the 1888 RNC. And I’m willing to bet that most of my conservative followers would gladly choose a Woodhull/Douglass ticket over Obama/Biden.
